Surah 98. Al-Baiyina

1. The deniers among the Scripture-Folk and the pagans were not split off until the proof confuted them:

2. One sent from ALLAH reciting pure pages

3. Wherein are correct laws.

4. And those who were given the Scripture did not become divided until after the clear evidence reached them;

5. And they were not commanded except to serve ALLAH, faithful to the conviction, to turn from falsehood and to pray sincerely and to pay dues; and that is the upright religion.

6. Surely the deniers among the Scripture-Folk and the pagans are in the fire of hell, remaining in it: these are the worst of creatures.

7. Surely those who keep faith and work righteousness, these are the best of creatures.

8. Their reward with their Lord: Gardens of Eden from beneath which rivers flow, remaining in it forever. ALLAH is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him; this, for who feared his Lord.
