This judge isn't cooperating with the Bush administration ... she knows that they have no evidence against Zacarias Moussaoui and they only want the charges to be dissmissed so that they can throw him into the brig in South Carolina or at Guantanamo.
This is a heroic judge.
This lady, The Honorable Leonie M. Brinkema, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia, is a guardian of liberty, a champion of justice, an example of the best of America's promise and fidelity, and a sign for muslims everywhere of what they may ultimately expect from the good hearts of the American people. This woman has upheld justice in this bold and courageous decision like no judge I have ever seen.
This remarkable American judge has exonerated herself and her office of all that Moussaoui, in his irrelevantly scathing, abusive, personally malignant excoriating pleadings, has alleged. She has ignored the unmannerly, arrogant and insulting conduct of a sworn enemy of America and Americans and her judicial function itself to render exactly and precisely the demand of justice on Zacarias Moussaoui.
This is a renegade muslim who came to America to do murder. There is no record of any attempt on the part of anyone with him to attempt to consult with America's muslims on their endangerment of every muslim in America. He, and those like him, are subject to summary execution pursuant to Shari'ah Law on discovery by or at the direction of any sworn officer of Muslim America and Leonie M. Brinkema has saved his life. And she has done this fully consonant with American law, which has and continues full jurisdiction over the defendant beyond the reach of Shari'ah Law. They can have him, we raise no claim on his blood, which is a priori forfeit.
I have read and studied her Memorandum Opinion and Order to see how well and truly she has bound the Government from usurping the jurisdiction of the Constitution in this case, by refusing to allow them to take back the jurisdiction they gave the Court by charging Moussoui in the first place. It is meticulously detailed with ample support of decisional law that has been reviewed and tested for probity. In my professional opinion and from my experience in American courts and law, it should withstand scrutiny and be upheld by the Court of Appeals and, should it go there, the United States Supreme Court. The Government's hands are properly tied behind their backs and she has done this single-handedly with aplomb and justiciable exactitude. It is a splendid document.
This should go down in the annals of jurisprudence as an astounding exercise of judicial wisdom.
"We are nothing as a nation," she said elsewhere, "without the rule of law." She, at least, stands against the replacement of law in America with Ashcroftian opportunism and expedience.
I call upon all muslims to ask God to uphold this woman's decision to prevent the enemies of humanity from murdering this man so richly deserving of capital disposal. His blood would attach to all Americans and she has saved an entire people from that condemnation. Whatever Moussaoui may have done, and he has himself confessed to unlawful conspiracy on the record of this case and is openly hostile, he is not guilty of the Treachery of the Towers and the Justice Department knows that. They would do murder in my name and on the completely specious basis of my authority which cannot do murder.
My compliments to Judge Brinkema and my prayers are for Him to strengthen her hand against the enemies of America in our government.
She is truly a woman of exemplary principle.
