Muslim America is incorporated in Oregon (1985) and Washington (1995) and in additional States as a "non-profit religious order and membership organization." In each State
Primary funding for Muslim America derives from membership commitments. No Muslim America operating or capital funding, compensation, payments, or other contributions of any kind have ever been accepted by any Muslim America organization, office, officer or member from any governmental or partisan agency whatever. Muslim America administers fiduciary trusts directed for general and specific beneficiaries, including civic, religious, and personal beneficiaries and purposes external to the muslim community. Save and except what is offered directly on this website, no distributions of any kind, material or otherwise, leave America.
Because federal "Internal Revenue Service Recognition of Tax Exempt Status" precludes organizational involvement in political affairs and campaigns, the directors of Muslim America have not applied for or received any such IRS recognition. Contributions to Muslim America are not tax deductible and under US law may not be claimed as charitable contributions on any State or federal income tax returns.
Charitable contributions may be directed to specific recipients or purposes within the United States in States wherein Muslim America has established a corporate presence. Such contributions must be identified and directed by explicit instruction sent to trust officers at Muslim America Law Offices at maktabat@muslimamerica.net and also as sufficient legal instruments by which to establish a recordable fiduciary trust, by certified mail, to
